Primary Purpose:
Under general supervision provides business process and technical support for a group of construction and safety based information technology applications. Collaborates with internal users and business stakeholders to facilitate an understanding of current capabilities, needs and areas of improvement. Acts as support and training liaison for critical technology applications. Analyzes user issues and needs, documents, and resolves. Reports to the IT Construction and Safety Applications Portfolio Manager.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Providing application support and training for information technology tools and business processes
• Deliver training and educational materials related to best practices for key technology tools
• Facilitate the implementation of existing IT tools currently in use
• Collaborate with 3rd party service providers on initiatives and addressing technology issues
• Understands IT interfaces and workflow, works to make these more efficient or automated when needed
• Initiates the development of training documents
• If applicable, also includes testing, quality control and scripting in solution development
• Works with the business stakeholder to support and deliver positive outcomes

Minimum Qualifications:
In addition to the education requirements, zero to four years related experience.; Associate degree in Computer Science or related field OR equivalent work experience

Preferred Job Qualifications:
• 2-4 years’ experience in related technology industry
• Experience deploying, supporting and trouble-shooting applications in a multi-site, multi-user environment
• Experience in the Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC) industry
• Industrial construction on-site/field experience
