Primary Purpose:
This is a mid to senior level construction management position associated with the company’s regional construction operations organization. The work is complex and requires high degrees of strategic, integrating, and problem solving skills as well as the ability to handle multiple, concurrent proposals and projects in execution. The candidate must be well versed and capable in all aspects of construction including safety, quality, construction management, scheduling, resource management, startup, etc.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Based in the Beijing Office; this position reports to the Bangkok based Construction Director while supporting region wide Construction Operations for all operating divisions. Accountable for supporting specific components of construction operations in the Division or Region as assigned. Accountable for supporting construction business development efforts and for project construction execution processes. Also responsible for supporting assignment of resources with proper expertise and tools to support assigned construction project execution.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Ensuring that all aspect of construction operations on each project site comply with applicable Safety, Quality, Schedule, Cost Tracking, and Execution meet company program and policies.

• Ensuring the staffing of assigned construction projects with appropriately trained and skilled professionals needed to successfully provide the contracted services.
• Supports the development of construction execution plans for projects and proposals which minimizes cost and duration of construction activities.

• Supports the preparation of bids and proposals.

Minimum Qualifications:

Preferred Job Qualifications:
•The successful candidate for this position will be degree-qualified with at least 15 years of experience, of which at least five years will have been at a site manager level.
•The candidate’s career will demonstrate a steady progression of increasing levels of responsibility on complex projects. Experience must include management of power plant construction projects.
•The successful applicant will be required to operate in a highly inclusive and collaborative manner, taking the lead at resolving problems they will be an excellent man manager, with great communication skills both up and down the chain of command.
