Directs complex projects requiring global resources and multiple partners or multiple PMs. Manages multiple clients and/or accountable for implementing expanded New Business objectives.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
This position will be focused on developing and maintaining strong client relations with a focus in the water/wastewater sector for the purpose of securing new business and serving as a business manager for related projects. The position is in the West Region of B&V Water Americas.
The overall objectives are to contribute to significant business growth by leading the development of new & existing utility clients, leading project execution efforts on major projects, capturing increased market share, and achieving these objectives while providing a challenging and exciting work place for our employees to innovate, grow and thrive
Business Development - In support of new business goals for B&V Water, lead and participate in business capture efforts and develop/maintain strong relations with prospective clients in assigned area. Lead development of strategy to target and win prospective work from clients in assigned areas. Support business forecasting and budget efforts.
Project Execution - Serve as the business manager for major projects and clients. Monitor the progress of all assigned projects through regular reviews of budget, scope, schedule, and financial performance and take corrective action whenever needed. Work closely with Project Managers to deliver projects to client expectations. Maintain close contact with client to ensure expectations are being met.
Regulatory Knowledge and Expertise - Demonstrate a working knowledge and in-depth understanding of the wastewater regulatory and permitting framework with state regulators.
Represent B&V and demonstrate market leadership through involvement and leadership in professional organizations and with key members of assigned client’s organization. Contribute to technical papers, industry publications, and thought leadership on wastewater reuse, nutrient removal technologies, and innovative treatment strategies.
Develop strong and lasting business relationships with strategic and core clients in the west region. Be recognized as a trusted advisor by assigned clients.
Lead general marketing and business development activity with assigned clients for the development of client relations, identification and evaluation of pursuit opportunities, and development of pursuit strategies in collaboration with prospect pursuit teams.
Support participation in professional society activities with technical input to participants and provision of paper presentations.

Expand both personal and overall engineering knowledge and skills to enhance performance

Education: Bachelors Degree
