Lead level position assigned to a role in Cost Engineering. With minimal supervision, is responsible for independently applying advanced project controls techniques and analyses. The level may handle commercial issues and will provide leadership and guidance to less experienced project control personnel. Has project team supervisory responsibilities.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Effectively lead a team of PJC Cost Control professionals and positively influence internal and external clients to achieve successful results. • Lead the implementation and maintenance of cost management system including progress and performance tracking. • Responsible for producing accurate forecasts and detailed variance analysis. • Lead the implementation and maintenance of Earned Value Management systems. • Address contractual requirements related to cost control. • Prepare monthly/quarterly reports and brief management. • Lead the implementation and maintenance of quantity mgmt reporting, the change mgmt program and progress measurement systems. • Lead key project risk and contingency reviews. • Interface with management team to identify issues and provide proper analysis and recommendations.
Four-year Bachelor's degree with eight or more years of relevant Cost Control of Planning & Scheduling experience OR no four-year Bachelor's degree required with ten years or more of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience in Home Office or Field Office. Preferred Job Qualifications:
Prefer Master’s degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
