Primary Purpose:
This position provides support to our Labor Relations Team under minimal supervision. This Coordinator requires proficiency in an administrative support role and his/her duties and tasks are often non-routine, requiring frequent independent judgment. This professional will consistently apply initiative to anticipate and proactively resolve issues, will possess thorough knowledge of workgroup’s policies and procedures, as well as general knowledge of company policies and processes as well as has frequent contact with clients, suppliers, or company employees outside the immediate work area to exchange information.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Gathers data, verifies the data, and then creates area labor surveys from said data for potential and current projects
• Collaborates with Contractor’s Associations & Union Halls to collect Labor Survey data
• Interprets multiple reports
• Schedules and participates in meetings to discuss Labor Surveys
• Establishes and updates project files
• Attends and assists with Project Labor Agreement negotiations
• Attends, and at times, may present at Labor Management meetings
• Collaborates with the BVCI Payroll Team to establish project craft rates
• Organizes flow of administrative work through supervisor’s office
• Maintains team calendar and schedules meetings, travel, and/or events
• Initiates or composes simple to complex documents
• May review expense reports for compliance
• May verify accuracy of invoices prior to approval
• May assign or coordinate work of other support staff, as well as conduct performance management activities
• Other tasks as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:
• Basic spreadsheet skills and intermediate word processing skills
• All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

• 5+ years relevant experience (may be a combination of education and working experience)
