Marketing lead position supporting Solarhood Growth Initiative with responsibilities in one or more related areas: marketing, communications, event coordination, branding, and proposal support. Has responsibility for projects that are complex in nature, and that are often longer in duration. Understands the strategy/vision of assigned work group. Works under minimal supervision. Requires advanced knowledge of the principles and practices within work group or a recognized body of formal knowledge. This includes knowledge required for complex problems, new project and system development, strategic analysis, etc.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Experience deploying PPC ads in Facebook and AdWords
2. Experience scaling ads to numerous markets

4. Content marketing development, strategy and leadership
Branding • Leads branding initiatives throughout the company. • Participates in development of new or changing brand guidelines and procedures. • Provides leadership in executing the research, development and implementation of the brand framework; including best practices, competitive research and analysis, best-in-class analysis and implementation plan. • Provides direct support and guidance in the deployment and execution of the brand framework and on-going enhancements including all marketing channels (including building signage, advertising, collateral, web and events). • Collaborates with corporate and/or operating businesses / divisions in development of brand plans in support of sales efforts and objectives including market awareness, market penetration and motivation, lead generation, sales support. • Executes brand message training for corporate and/or operating businesses / divisions to further instill the brand messages into the organization. Communications • Applies standard principles, theories and concepts in copyediting. • Edits, proofreads and writes multiple complex company communications materials. • Review and edits written copy, articles, web content, marketing collateral, internal/external publications, news releases, social media and video copy and the like for content accuracy, style, grammar, spelling, and syntax punctuation. • Assigns projects to internal/external resources/vendors and tracks progress. • Works closely with team leaders and management to develop schedules, milestones, and priorities. • Researches and verifies the authenticity of material. • Assists in the development of copy standards. • Writes or leads development of content for internal and external communications materials and drives messages throughout a division, region or the company. Marketing • Writes or leads development of content for collateral, and drives messages throughout a division, region or the company. • Responsible for work prioritization, forecasting, scheduling, measuring and coordinating resources within assigned projects. • Conducts research of best practices for related programs and initiatives, and develops recommendations for implementation. • Plans for effective development and implementation of longer term marketing projects and programs. • Analyzes options and facilitates or coordinates marketing program decision. • Assists in assigning projects to internal/external resources/vendors and track progress. • Assists in coordination of layout, artwork, and progress thru production. • Assists in assigning projects to internal/external resources/vendors and measure and track progress. • Participates in prospect screening process and tracks/advances pursuits through the sales process Proposals • Defines development of new strategies and concepts for pursuits. • Participates in pursuits that have a profound impact on the total organization. • Leads development and implementation of pursuit plans required for statements of qualifications, proposals, and presentations. Writes multiple sections and ensures external messages are tailored throughout. • Supports multiple pursuits, which are reviewed through achievement of objectives according to pre-defined goals. Event Coordinating • Researches and develops best practices, and then implements event strategy for division or company. • Provides cost effective and successful meeting planning. • Develops and defines event standards for division or company. • Reviews and monitors meeting/conference budgets. Reviews billings for accuracy. • Reviews site and service contracts for facilities, transportation, entertainment, events and related activities. • Prepares bid comparisons. • Typically has prescribed negotiation responsibilities.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication or a related field; or equivalent experience Experience: 6+ years related experience All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
