Mid-level professional position, with responsibilities in one or more related areas for Power Delivery: marketing, communications, event coordination, branding, and proposal support. Understands the strategy/vision of Power Delivery. Requires thorough knowledge of business practices and procedures within Power Delivery or recognized body of formal knowledge. This includes knowledge required for complex problems, new project and system development, etc. Uses a wide application of principles, theories, concepts, and draws on previous experience to determine a course of action. Tasks may be more tactical than strategic in nature.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
Pursuits/Proposals: Develop appropriate documents to support targeted pursuits. Assist in the development of pre-proposal and proposal documents needed for specific pursuits including glossies/graphics/presentation material for Power Delivery
Events: Support the planning and execution of events for Power Delivery regional/events as needed by regional sales professionals. Coordinate with GMC and events planners on larger efforts and as needed.
Global Success Stories: Help create content and coordinate approvals for Global Success Stories to reside on the B&V website and other outlets. Coordinate with GMC for support as needed.
Thought Leadership: Assist in the development of topics, coordinate input as needed from various sources, and develop content and approaches for articles/events that establish Black & Veatch as a thought leader. Develop a plan to insert articles each year in identified trade media. Examples of thought leadership include our Strategic Directions Report content, magazine articles, Webinar opportunity and BV.com articles. Coordinate with GMC for support as needed.
Ad Placements in trade media publications: Coordinate the development of subject matter for Power Delivery, obtain client approvals and create content for print advertising aligned with PD topic promotion. Coordinate with GMC as needed.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or a related field; or equivalent experience Experience: 4+ years related experience All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
