Primary Purpose:
The Project Controls Analyst position requires a demonstrated capacity to display critical thinking skills and the ability to analyze, communicate, and assist in trouble shooting EcoSys user issues as part of the Core support team. In addition, documenting problems and revising and maintaining a schedule of priority road map items is required. Also Support users with project creation, budgeting, importing, and interfacing project out to Oracle. Understand how various business units do work differently and what can be done to streamline approaches

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Working knowledge of Project Controls best practices.
• Assist with Training, developing and delivering
• Assist with testing software releases/updates/upgrades.
• Assist with Communicating business needs as relates to support calls
• Maintaining and supporting Schedule Road map
• Assist businesses with identifying best practices for structure set up.
• Migration of non EcoSys enabled projects into EcoSys in accordance with process established.
• Assist with creating templates for businesses.
• Assist with trouble tickets that come up
• Work to understand what the problem is being reported as and help identify if it is a “user” issue or a “bug”.
• Back up the business Specialist in each division for day to day support.
• Triage the “Error log” and work to get things logged in ALM/VSTS.
• Assist in training as a technical support
• Help identify and outline requirements for business reporting needs.
• Assist in creating help text for each report and then get into help menu.
• Assist in supporting Power BI request from business units.
• Work with projects from various scopes of work from services to FULL EPC.
• Perform UAT testing on software updates and enhancements as needed.
• Maintains user confidence and protects operations by keeping information confidential.
• Applies analytical and technical thinking within areas of assigned responsibility to resolve routine client issues and challenges by identifying possible alternatives, and providing recommendations.
• Identify and report on application development defects and assist the IT provider in resolving these defects.
• Work with the various business units to define, document and maintain: Portfolio strategic direction that is consistent with corporate and business unit strategic plans.

Minimum Qualifications:
Four-year Bachelor's degree with three or more years of relevant Cost Control of Planning & Scheduling experience OR no four-year Bachelor's degree required with six years or more of relevant Cost Control or Planning & Scheduling experience in Home Office or Field Office.

Preferred Job Qualifications:
Prefer four-year Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
