Primary Purpose:
To provide timely and accurate HR support to designated regions and functional areas of the business. To partner with local and business line leaders, supporting them with the Company’s annual HR processes, and to take a lead role in HR projects.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Partner with leaders to deliver pro-active advice, aligning to and supporting business goals
• Provide support to managers and employees on general HR policy matters
• Advise and guide managers on all types and levels of employee relations cases including disciplinary, grievance, capability, redundancy and absence management
• Collaborate with counterparts in joint venture partner companies, attending regular HR partner meetings
• Support the company’s annual HR processes such as performance reviews, bonus and salary review processes
• Undertake and lead HR projects such as headcount reductions, restructures and TUPE transfers with minimal supervision
• Support the apprentice, intern and graduate recruitment and development programs
• Develop and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with current employment legislation and best practice
• Keep abreast of recruitment activities, starters, leavers & transfers relevant to designated business region/area of responsibility & ensure associated data integrity
• Undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role
• Travel within the UK as necessary

Minimum Qualifications:
• Senior HR advisory/partnering experience within a professional HR function
• Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
• Excellent knowledge of employment law principles and their application
• Experience of managing individual and collective consultation processes
• Substantial experience of developing and implementing policies and procedures
• Excellent communication skills, both written & oral
• Self-starter with ability to prioritise, multi-task and work to tight deadlines
• Strong team player
• Excellent attention to detail
• High level of confidentiality
• Proficient Microsoft skills; including Word , Excel and Powerpoint
• A-level standard of education, or equivalent, and CIPD Level 7 qualified
