Primary Purpose:
Carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance to the Building Control Act as the Qualified Site Supervisor (RTO) on record for the supervision of the works

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
•Carry out duties and responsibilities in accordance to the Building Control Act as the Qualified Site Supervisor (RTO) on record for the supervision of the works
•Work with the Resident Engineer and his representatives and be responsible for enforcing specification and code
•Assist RE to review and approve design calculations and drawings at site
•Proactive in providing periodic site progress update
•Ensure appropriate and consistent documentation of inspection and test, to be in conformance with regulations set forth by BCA
•Arrange and witness Factory Acceptance Tests and Site Acceptance Test
•Conducts inspections and certify value of work completed for RE’s recommendation for Contractor’s progress payment to be made.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years prior experience in quality management-related field. No special training required. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Preferred Job Qualifications:
4 year degree in engineering, quality, business, construction science, or related field (preferred). Familiarity with quality management software and database management desired. Preferred Technical Competencies: • Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) - intermediate; SharePoint. • Human relation skills (conflict management and resolution) - basic. • Database management skills - basic. • Working knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 principles. • Experience with quality programs and implementation activities related to ISO 9001:2015, Six Sigma (desired). Non-Technical Preferred Competencies: • Demonstrates basic: Process management, conflict management, total work systems, written communications, composure, managerial courage and decision quality.
