Primary Purpose:
Responsible for developing and providing training services to BVCI professionals locally or out in the field as assigned. This may also include leading new employee orientation.
This professional is an individual contributor with no management responsibilities.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
• Supports continuous improvement efforts and the change management effects associated with the implementation of improvements.
• Partner with field professionals to analyze training needs.
• Create, develop, and deliver content as identified.
• Develop and implement development programs to enhance career opportunities for Construction professionals.
• Manage compliance programs as assigned.
• Provides New Employee Orientation for all new BVCI employees.
• Assists in identifying critical HR and training goals; participates in developing related actions needed.
• Provides professional support to the HR Manager as assigned
• Assist field staff in identify training needs and compiling information to create training procedural guides.
• Performs role as change agent for implementing new HR programs and/or processes. Assists in development and executing communication plans.
• Carries out administrative work involving the HR functions and maintains related records.
• Supports continuous improvement efforts and the change management effects associated with the implementation of improvements.
• Establishes open and trusting relationships with staff and engages productively and proactively in business discussions. Provides input and advises management on training and programs.
• Effectively maintains BVCI’s compliance program as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
• 2+ years related HR experience
• All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Preferred Job Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred

Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience with Construction Training programs and or companies
• Experience developing web based training
• Experience with LMS
• Experience with EEOC compliance
• Experience working in a construction environment
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Good multi-tasking skills
