Job Summary
The Fleet System Administrator, under general supervision, is responsible for managing and maintaining fleet management systems, asset tracking databases, and operational records to support efficient fleet operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain fleet management software and related systems.
- Monitor fleet assets, equipment, vehicles, and tools to ensure accurate tracking and utilization.
- Manage data entry, updates, and audits within fleet and inventory management systems.
- Generate fleet performance reports, utilization metrics, maintenance records, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate with operations, field personnel, warehouse teams, and subcontractors regarding fleet assignments and equipment availability.
- Investigate and resolve fleet system issues, data discrepancies, and user access concerns.
Minimum Qualifications
- In addition to the education requirements, two to four years related experience.
- Associate degree in Computer Science or related field OR equivalent work experience.
- All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
Preferred Qualifications

Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including reporting, data analysis, and record management.

Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Good communication skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Experience supporting construction, utility, or field-service operations is preferred.
