Job Summary

The Transportation Solutions Architect will innovate, evolve, and develop lifecycle management for current and emerging solutions for the Transportation (EV Charging Stations, Hydrogen Refueling Stations, EV Fleet Charging, Aviation Hub Charging, and Autonomous Vehicles) solutions. Reports to the lead for the Solutions Architect group in Connectivity & Commercial while working closely with each Market Sector (P&L), respective Product Leader, Clients, and OEMs. 

Key Responsibilities

•    Primary interface with all client executives to understand existing and emerging Transportation solution needs
•    Anticipate, define, and evolve solutions portfolio to all sector needs
•    Identify and develop capabilities/skills needed to successfully deliver solutions
•    Primary interface with operations and project leaders to enable solutions delivery for all market sectors
•    Working with clients to understand their portfolio needs and goals to develop viable solutions to meet their needs.
•    Coordinating with OEMs to ensure solutions offer the latest market and product offerings.
•    Define support needed from global marketing for solutions portfolio, including proposals
•    Responsible for proposal development, including process, execution plan development, and scoping in coordination with segment and sub-segment teams
•    Provide input and thought leadership to solutions and proposal development
•    Provide training on solutions offered to client executives and proposal leads
•    Communicates and builds trust effectively within team and sectors, particularly with segment leaders and client executives
•    Works with other Solutions Architects on combined solution offerings

Management Responsibilities

Preferred Qualifications

•    Proven experience with several aspects of Transportation project development, including, but not limited to permitting, environmental, interconnection, marketing and the full EPC offering
•    Experience in coordinating with OEMs to understand market developments and latest product developments.
•    Intermediate knowledge of the full cycle of Transportation projects.
•    Experience with Electric Vehicle Charging and/or EV Fleet Charging programs or sales a plus.
•    Concisely frame issues by providing context, analysis, recommendations, and risk/benefit tradeoffs, both in written and verbal format, to project teams and to senior management.
•    Highly proficient in Microsoft Office suite tools, including Microsoft Project, as well as Google Earth.
•    Independent self-starter who can meet deadlines and deliver quality products with minimal oversight.
•    2+ years working in Clean Transportation
•    5+ years of proposals, and project development and delivery or related experience, preferable in Engineering, Procurement, Consulting, Construction, or related Industry
•    Master’s Degree preferred
•    Capability to drive adoption of new technologies and project delivery solutions within the proposal and project lifecycle
•    Knowledge of current and emerging technology and market trends
•    Ability to manage a large workload, often providing support to processes managed by colleagues, while prioritizing tasks and effectively juggling competing deadlines.
•    Detail-oriented with a strong sense of personal responsibility and ownership of work product.
•    Excellent personal organizational and pattern recognition skills.
•    Has an ability to effectively communicate complex ideas.
•    Has the ability and enthusiasm to drive projects forward.
•    Excellent problem-solving capabilities.
•    Quick learner, able to research and self-teach new concepts. 
•    Strong people skills and the ability to work well with diverse teams under pressure and manage conflict.
•    Translates technical concepts into easy-to-understand language

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field required.
