Job Summary

This is a management-level position, with responsibility for managing and implementing strategy for one or more related functions in: marketing, communications, branding, proposal support, event coordination, and/or creative services. Ensures work group strategy is communicated and implemented. Ensures alignment to functional, divisional and company strategies. At times, is involved in managing the day-to-day operational activities. Works under general direction. Scope typically involves a combination of the following: * a narrow or less complex function * a smaller or less complex division * a narrow or less complex line of business, client group or geography * a small region or a country Requires extensive theoretical, practical and industry knowledge. Applies and/or develops highly advanced principles and concepts. Requires the ability to integrate critical information from several diverse areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produces Value Propositions and other content that differentiates the Power business in the market.
  • Works with Sales Managers and Proposal Managers to understand the Market and develop Pursuit materials/Proposals while providing oversight to Lead Proposal Specialist for accurate, on-time Proposal delivery
  • Creates and implements Marketing content and campaigns including collateral, presentations, videos, webinars, podcasts, digital campaigns, website and other Marketing-Communications channels
  • Prepares compelling presentations and other sales related materials
  • Works with the Business Line(s), Sales, and Corporate Mar-Com event mangers to guide compelling, efficient and effective client and industry events
  • Coordinates messaging, layout, and artwork for Proposals
  • Applies standard brand guidelines to Marketing materials
  • Prepares briefing documents for client meetings
  • Collaborates with full Marketing team and Corporate Mar-Com for efficient/effective use of resources in development of Marketing and Proposal materials

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications
  • Power industry experience desired
  • Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word  
  • Working knowledge of CRM tools (i.e. Salesforce)
  • Work is frequently performed under rigid time constraints with narrow margin for error or delays. Position involves problem-solving, and organizing and adhering to project schedules.
Minimum Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's degree in related field preferred, or equivalent experience Experience: 8+ years progressive experience, including 4+ years supervisory All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
