Job Summary

To work in the Network Modelling Team undertaking model building, calibration/verification, analysis, solution development and reporting. The initial requirement is to support our current wastewater projects (in the UK and overseas) but with the intention that they would become competent in all areas of clean water, wastewater network, water quality modelling and integrated catchment modelling (including river modelling as required).

Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake wastewater model construction and verification
  • Prepare and supervise site surveys (manhole, ancillary, IAS and flow survey) and where appropriate, calibration field tests for clean water models
  • Prepare project reports
  • Support the delivery of wastewater and water network projects
  • Delivering project tasks to budget and programme
  • Liaise with clients and other external organisations as needed

 

Management Responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications

Essential

  • Minimum 2:1 degree from a leading University in Science, Engineering or a related subject.
  • Proven Utility Sector background/experience.
     
     
     
     
     
     
    Desirable
  • Working towards Chartered Status or recently Chartered.
  • Holds clean driving licence.

  • Experience in clean water modelling (InfoWorks WS Pro and/or SynerGEE).
  • Experience in river modelling (FloodModeller Pro, MIKE, TUFLOW).
  • Experience in water quality modelling.
