Job Summary

To manage the delivery of Environmental Impact Assessments and other consents.


Key Responsibilities
  • providing environmental support on a wide range of projects including fluvial and coastal flood risk management, water utility, rail, renewable/ energy projects and other large scale infrastructure;
  • managing and writing all stages of Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA);
  • managing consenting applications such as planning, Development Consent Orders, Transport and Works Order and Environmental Permits;
  • supporting business development and tenders;
  • liaising with project teams, clients, stakeholders and the public as required;
  • maintaining client relationships;
  • providing a mentoring/supervisory role to more junior members of our team.
Preferred Qualifications

Education and training

Masters (or equivalent) in Environmental related subject. 


Background and experience

Experience of SEA and Habitats Regulations Assessments.


Knowledge Base

Enjoy innovation and embracing advances in technology and EIA.

Town and Country planning.

Development Consent Orders.

EIA in Republic of Ireland.

Minimum Qualifications

Education and training

Environmental related degree.


Academic and professional qualifications

Obtained chartership with a professional institute and/or hold IEMA Registered  EIA Practitioner. Or close to obtaining (Grade 4)


Background and experience

Excellent grounding in EIA, preferably in relation to flood/coastal management, rail, water utility or energy projects.


Any Additional Requirements

Full driving licence.
