Duties

Work on weekly P6 schedule updates for engineering, procurement & construction. Perform critical path and float analysis to identify and notify the team of any deviations and keep project on track. Prepare and conduct meetings to discuss reports like manhour tracking, planned/earned/spent and schedule adherence to track engineering progress based on schedule earnings and to identify lagging activities on a weekly basis. Prepare and analyze cost forecast report for construction indirect expenses for material & craft, field management and subcontracts monthly and present/discuss with project team including Project Manager, Site Manager, and Project Controls Manager. Identify risk areas for cost overruns and schedule delays and notify management. Monthly field visits to have coordination meetings with superintendents, project coordinators and field staff to update reports.  No hire/fire authority. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline, plus two years of related experience.  Must have minimum one year of experience with Primavera P6 and MS Excel. Must have experience with project controls methodologies including Critical Path Method scheduling, Float Analysis, Earned Value Management, and Cost Budgeting & Forecasting. Telecommuting is permissible within a reasonable commuting distance from the Dallas, TX office.  National travel required (up to 25%). Must have good written and verbal communications skills in English.
