The Opportunity

We're looking for a talented Project Manager to join our thriving team and help us grow our business, foster an inclusive and diverse working environment, and mentor and develop professionals. This position will focus on delivery of water projects for major municipal clients in North Texas. Experience required in:
- Design of water and wastewater facilities;
- Familiarity with water and wastewater facilities hydraulics and treatment equipment;
- Water and wastewater facilities master planning;
- Development of Opinion of Probable Construction Costs (OPCC);
- Familiarity with alternate delivery procurement methods like construction manager at risk (CMAR), competitive seal proposals (CSP) and conventional procurement processes.

The Team
BV’s Governments & Environment business works to provide innovative solutions and integrated planning, design and construction support for mission-critical facilities, as well as threat reduction and environmental services support worldwide. By joining our business, you will be able to provide infrastructure for community benefit through regulated utilities and government agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide leadership and execute multi-disciplinary engineering projects
- Collaborate with subconsultants and internal project team and drive overall project execution
- Manage and build client relationships
- Lead and collaborating with other engineering leaders on project scope, proposal, design, presentation, resourcing, scheduling, and management
- Support business development through writing of technical approaches, scopes of work, and presentation to clients
- Coach, mentor and help develop other engineering staff
- Ability to lead large multi-discipline teams and drive solutions to meet deliverables
- Previous experience executing multi-discipline facilities upgrades and expansion projects
- Previous experience managing and maintaining project schedules and budgets
- Experience and ability to support proposals with technical ideas and approaches
- Serve in a supervisory role and participate in career planning and learning and development
Management Responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications
Typically 5 years experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
Certifications
Professional engineering registration is highly preferred, with the ability to obtain a PE License in Texas.
Work Environment/Physical Demands
Typical office environment, typical construction environment, extreme weather conditions, high noise level, safety hazards (electric currents, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to chemicals), atmospheric conditions (fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, poor ventilation). Sitting, walking, talking, hearing, reading, writing, keyboarding, driving, filing, reaching, stooping, crouching, bending, standing for extended periods of time, lifting or carrying up to 40 pounds.
