Job Summary

Functions in our group include safety, project field management, construction management, quality control, start up and decommissioning and field engineering.
This role is accountable for implementing and maintaining the company's Environmental, Health, and Safety policies and procedures for a Market Sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Manages environmental, safety, and health performance for projects in the Market Sector’s portfolio of solutions.
- Manages Market Sector EHS strategic plans.
- Develops and implements Client Segment or Solution specific environmental, safety, and health programs.
- Identifies, and monitors EHS key performance indicators for Market Sector Client Segments and Solutions.
- Implements Drug Free Workplace program on applicable projects.
- Conducts EHS Scorecards for applicable projects.
- Attends and participates as EHS representative for monthly project reviews for applicable Solutions.
- Responsible for administering and maintaining Safety Leadership Committees for Market Sector Solutions.
- Supports project pursuit and proposal efforts for Market Sector, including interfacing with current and prospective clients.
- Identifies and champions continuous improvement efforts for EHS Management System.
- Provides supervision, training, development, and performance management for direct reports.
- Responsible for incident reporting, investigation, and cause analysis for incidents occurring on applicable Solution projects.
- Responsible for environmental, safety, and health reporting for Market Sector.

- 8+ years in a construction environment preferred
- 10+ years safety and health management experience
- Preferred Skills: . Knowledge of safety and health standards and practices . Knowledge of company substance abuse policies and procedures . Knowledge of construction contracting strategies and contract administration . Knowledge of insurance program administration including owner-controlled and contractor-controlled insurance programs . Knowledge of worker's compensation policies and procedures . Knowledge of project and division safety and health budgeting and cost control . Knowledge of environmental laws and company and client programs, procedures . Knowledge of security risk and control processes and procedures . Knowledge of company safety and health consultation capabilities and ability to perform as a consultant . Ability to effectively interface with client and government officials . Communication skills . Ability to effectively manage emergency situations . Word processing and spreadsheet computer software programs . Ability to write detailed reports . Human relations skills . Conflict management skills . Leadership skills . Multi-tasking skills
Certifications

Work Environment/Physical Demands
Physical Demands:
• Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, Kneel, Bend, Stoop, Move, and Walk long distances in and around confined, cluttered places, and uneven areas.
• See and hear naturally or with correction.
• Full range of motion and flexibility consistent with requirements of the job duties.
• Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls according to a set procedure.
