The Opportunity

In this role you will manage all aspects of up to large Engineering Services projects involving multiple clients or partners, or up to medium-size Engineering Procurement Construction (EPC)/including risk to cost, schedule, quality. You will have responsibility for the day-to-day successful execution of contracted engineering, procurement, and construction scope in the areas of performance, financial metrics, planning, schedule, quality, contractual compliance, safety, and client satisfaction. Provides for the successful staffing of the project. Manages and leads large teams of multi-discipline professionals. Coordinates and integrates the activities associated with the engineering, procurement, construction, and startup elements of the project team, including the activities of all third party companies contributing to the initiative.

Position will be a project site-based position.

Key Responsibilities

Manages large engineering services projects involving multiple clients or partners.
Manages medium-size EPC projects.
Manages multiple clients and/or projects where the project team, client structure and/or project location present greater challenges.
Obtains new/repeat business on large size projects; supports contract negotiations with clients.
Manages multiple risks which includes fixed price or new technology or non-domestic markets or new clients.

Management Responsibilities

Acts as a project manager. Among responsibilities is management of a project team. The individual comprising this team may vary by project.

Preferred Qualifications

12+ years of project-related experience in areas of: Power, Power Generation, Renewable Power (Wind/Solar), Energy Transition Projects such as hydrogen production.

Previous EPC Project Management experience
Prior Engineering Services project management experience
Construction Design Management (CDM) Trained/Experience
IOSH or NEBOSH Preferred
Project Management Qualification Preferred

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Work Environment/Physical Demands

This will be a site-based Project Management role.

This is a construction site-based position. Adherence to job site safety standards and potential hazards due to nature of industrial construction project site.
Normal office/field environment: Sitting/Standing/Computer usage for extended period of time. Listening/Speaking. Ability to utilize video/audio-conferencing software for internal/external communication
Willing to relocate (To Job Site for duration of project).
