The Opportunity

Provide onsite support to the project team with basic procurement related activities. May be required to support other procurement duties. Receives general supervision.

As part of BV Operations, your skills will be aligned to projects that support our 4 market sectors which include, Governments and Communities, Fuels and Natural Resources, Power Providers, and Technology Commercial and Industrial. This leader will collaborate with project teams, logistics specialists, and expediters while engaged with exciting projects across the globe. From small community improvements to grand-scale Mega Projects, you will be Building a World of Difference through infrastructure growth and development while learning and focusing on your own individual development. Key Responsibilities

  • Be available to travel on assignment for long term projects as the on-site Field Procurement Rep., 
  • Execute requisition process for commodities, supplies, construction services and third-party rental equipment with support from Field Procurement Manager if applicable, 
  • Prepare request for quotes documents for bidding, evaluation by project team, negotiations, award purchase orders and post-award activities for field procurement., 
  • Execute Field Purchase Orders and Rental Agreements using an Enterprise Procurement System, 
  • Responsible for understanding and executing all relevant Corporate, Project Home Office and Field Procurement procedures and policies, 
  • Ensure all required vendor documentation for field procurements is requested as part of the purchase order and received in a timely manner, 
  • Process field contract revisions, 
  • Maintain Field Requisition and reports, 
  • Coordinate requisition process and field procurement activities with other groups within the team including Project Controls and Construction with the Home Office Project Procurement Manager, 
  • Assist in the coordination of Materials Management process, 
  • May be responsible for soliciting budgetary pricing for materials, equipment, and services to support estimating/proposal efforts for a project, 
  • May train others in the function of a Procurement Representative, with oversight from Supervisor, 
  • Files appropriate record documents and follows Corporate and project filing rules. Individual contributor with no subordinates. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • BA or BS degree in Purchasing, Business, Supply Chain, Construction Management, Engineering, or Technical or related field (preferred) 
  • Relevant experience may be substituted for a degree  
  • Preferred Skills: . Proficient Attention to Detail . Proficient Communication - Written and Oral . Proficient Computer - Database and MS Office . Basic Contract Comprehension . Proficient Data Entry . Basic Mathematics . Basic Organizing Data . Basic Problem Solving 

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of three (3) years experience without a degree. OSHA and any other mandatory training should an onsite position be assigned. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
