The Opportunity

As the Global Delivery and Digital Delivery Team Leader, you will have the opportunity to:

 

  • Be a dual hat Leader for the Digital Team in Delivery and IA Global Shared Services Resource & Capability Development
  • Lead resource management for off-shore resources to support the delivery of North America region projects, to enhance project profitability
  • Be responsible for coordination with Delivery Team leads for project resources and for skills development and training for off-shore resource professionals
  • Engage with senior leadership, clients, and partners to demonstrate the value of offshore capabilities and build a culture of collaboration, accountability, and excellence in Global Shared Delivery

 

The expectation for this role is 30-50% of time, in addition to other (50-70%) technical project delivery, business development and direct team management activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resource Management
    Establish resource management processes and tools in coordination with the Delivery Resource Management Lead, and establish quality controls for off-shore project delivery
    Assign off-shore resources to projects in coordination with the Team Leads in Delivery and the Delivery Resource Management Lead
    Participate in workload coordination meetings with Team Leads 

Resourcing Strategy

  • Develop and implement a strategy for global delivery resource development & optimization, to expand off-shore delivery capabilities to support US projects
  • Align offshore services with U.S. infrastructure market needs, ensuring value-driven outcomes, rather than simple staff augmentation.

Performance Management

  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and optimize offshore support.
  • Implement robust performance tracking and reporting mechanisms to measure delivery and quality success.
  • Set clear targets for Global Delivery adoption and monitor progress against defined KPIs. (Planner mandates, solution mandates to leverage off shore etc)

Talent Development

  • Work with the India Resource Manager to ensure that staff with suitable capabilities are hired, trained, and developed to ensure a high level of expertise and delivery quality.
  • Develop dedicated technical support teams and off-shore capabilities to support activities including complex financial modeling, market analysis, and transactions.
  • Foster a strong knowledge-sharing culture between US and Global Delivery teams.

Business Growth & Innovation

  • Identify opportunities to expand offshore support across additional service areas within infrastructure advisory and leverage other geographies (South America and EMEA)
  • Drive innovation in offshore delivery models through digital tools, automation, and process enhancements.
  • Support business development efforts by showcasing offshore capabilities to potential clients.

Management Responsibilities 

  • Supervises work of others. Responsible for hiring, discipline, and pay administration of the Digital Team in Infrastructure Advisory’s Delivery function
  • Dept Head oversight of approx. 40 professionals (US-based); may maintain some India-based oversight as well
  • Direct supervisory responsibility for a middle management 5 Group Supervisors and 5 delivery team members

Preferred Qualifications

  • Typically 12-15+ years in an engineering/business/consulting environment
  • Resource management and supervisory experience
  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant work experience
  • Master’s degree preferred

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience
  • Has successfully managed multiple engagements simultaneously
  • Contributor or leader to acquire new engagements
  • 12-15+ years in a business/consulting environment
