Functions in our group include safety, project field management, construction management, quality control, start up and commissioning, and field engineering.
Selected individual will be responsible for managing, developing, and providing resources necessary for project execution and aiding in development of execution plans for all Services PM/CM projects in the Americas and will interface with regional project execution and facilitate Construction Phase or 3rd party CM project delivery. This role will function in three main areas: Construction Phase Services (CPS) workforce administration/ development, CPS strategy/ partnering with the CM Business Line Director, and ensuring effective project execution/ proposal coordination with Regional offices.
Key Responsibilities
Workforce Administration & Development:
• Provide visible leadership to Construction Field Services professionals
• Manage productivity and provide workload projections to Managing Director of Operations.
• Participate in oversight to drive standardization of key business processes (e.g. calibration, promotion process, perf. blueprint)
• Collaborate to development policies and procedures
• Provide staff support of department standards development and other development projects
• Develop and administer annual budget including overhead allocations. Provide quarterly financial performance forecasts.
• Provide overall direction and administration of staffing plans, succession planning, and people-related processes
• Administer performance management goal alignment.
• Oversee salary equity and promotion administration
• Administer development activities as identified and budgeted
• Work with the Managing Director of Operations to plan and administer developmental activities associated with quality, risk and performance improvement.
CPS Strategy/ Partnering with CM Business Line Director:
• Work with the Director of CM Business line to: forecast, hire & integrate key CM resources.
•Provide staffing & relocation strategies from a logistical and financial perspective
•Supports continuous improvement efforts and the change management effects associated with the implementation of improvements
• Identify trends and tools to improve field service efficiencies and quality.
Coordinate Proposals/ Project Execution:
• Review proposals for costs of Construction phase services.
• Coordination with Client Director and CM Business line Director for proposal development and writing, as well as managing proposals from a cost AND technical perspective.
• May serve in project advisory role on selected major pursuits or projects in technical or management areas of personal expertise
• Provides general guidance and constructability of overall design.
• Provide regular project health communication associated with project execution and quality issues
Preferred Qualifications
A minimum of 10+ Years of construction management experience on water and wastewater facilities or linear water infrastructure.

Physical Demands:
• Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, Kneel, Bend, Stoop, Move, and Walk long distances in and around confined, cluttered places, and uneven areas.

• Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls according to a set procedure.

• Requires working in cramped work spaces and getting into awkward positions.
• Requires working in very hot (above 90 F degrees) or very cold (below 32F degrees) temperatures and exposure to inclement weather such as dust, wind, snow, rain, etc.

• Includes exposure to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable.
