Internship Program Benefits

Key Responsibilities
- To demonstrate leadership and adaptability, with the willingness to take ownership of tasks or projects
- Develop project plans with the intention of delivering requires such as resources, timing/milestones, and risks
- The ability to achieve goals and success across functionalities
- Drive to overcome the most challenging obstacles and look for ways to improve results
Learning Opportunities:
- Assist with Monthly Phishing Campaigns & Reporting
- Assist with the development, implementation, and maintenance of Cybersecurity and Privacy Policies & Standards
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues including phishing tickets and security incident tickets
- Create Knowledge Base articles and other documentation
- Assist with risk acceptance and risk register operations
- Assist with supplier risk assessment, questionnaires, and documentation
- Assist with ServiceNow Security Projects & Tasks updates
- Stay up to date on current cybersecurity technologies and developments
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors in Cybersecurity, Cyber Assurance, Computer Science or Information Technology is preferred
Preferred Skills:
- Analytical skills
- Communications skills, both written and oral
- Initiative, self-starter, highly motivated
Minimum Qualifications
Certifications
Certifications such as Security+ and GIAC are preferred
Work Environment/Physical Demands
Professionals located near a Black & Veatch office have the option of a hybrid work model that offers a balance between working together in person and the flexibility of remote work. Our hybrid work model means you will work three days in the office and two days from another location of your choice.
