The Opportunity

In this role, you will support and contribute to Federal electronic security projects while developing your technical skills. Working under close to general supervision (depending on experience), you will assist with the design and documentation of electronic security systems and coordinate with project team members across disciplines. This role is intended for early-career engineers (new graduates through associate level) and offers training, mentorship, and increasing responsibility over time.
As a project team member, you will perform the following:
Incorporate feedback from senior engineers into design drawings and documents, and coordinate updates to client deliverables to ensure accuracy, clarity, and interdisciplinary alignment.
Support internal and external project meetings and, as appropriate, participate in discussions with client stakeholders on technical aspects of security systems.
Understand and adhere to assigned project budgets, schedules, and quality requirements; support task planning and coordination activities as directed.

Research and learn about security system software, hardware, vendors, and related technologies; may attend related conferences or trainings to support professional development and business needs.

Our primary areas of focus are: Architecture/Engineering (A/E) Services, Defense Program, Design/Build, Clas.sified, and Environmental.
Preferred Qualifications
You will be assigned to projects for U.S. Government Agency/Department clients. Thus, the candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.
The following are required qualifications (new grad through associate level):

Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an accredited program (or in progress for candidates close to graduation, as applicable)

Fundamentals of Engineering (FE/EIT) (preferred)

Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC)

Familiarity with the applicable Unified Facilities Guide Specifications (UFGS) and Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC)
-
Ability to obtain a US security clearance
