Job Summary
  • Mid-level position, with responsibilities performing a variety of tasks to support the planning, layout and preparation of moderately complex commercial art work for inclusion in product brochures, displays, web applications, presentations, slides, proposals, technical manuals, and similar graphics applications requiring a creative graphics treatment.
  • Experienced user of a variety of computer-based graphics presentation techniques and applications.
  • Plans for the effective development and implementation of shorter-term projects.
  • Understands the strategy/vision of work group.
  • Works under limited supervision and guidelines using considerable creative judgment regarding composition, media selection and the like.
  • May provide guidance to other creative and marketing/proposal staff.
Key Responsibilities
  • Designs, develops, produces and prepares creative graphics, commercial art and technical illustrative materials from sketches, written and verbal requests.
  • Selects techniques best suited to produce desired visual effects in conformance with specified quality standards.
  • Recommends appropriate methods and medium to convey the desired effect.
  • Utilizes a wide variety of graphics production equipment, web tools and supplies including personal computer and desktop publishing/graphics software.
  • Plans for the effective development and implementation of shorter-term projects.
  • Requires work prioritization and coordinating resources within assigned projects.
  • May support web graphics design requirements.
  • Individual contributor with no subordinates.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Working expertise with Adobe Creative Suite (i.e. InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Assist in managing web content and social media.
  • Architectural and Engineering Services / Construction industry experience preferred.
  • Intermediate knowledge of design layout and concepts. 
  • Understanding of proposal processes and experience working under strict deadlines/schedules.
    • Intermediate knowledge of media production, communication, and dissemination techniques and methods.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Problem solving and organization skills. Intermediate knowledge of marketing/ branding/ communications concepts. Intermediate multi-tasking skills and attention to detail. 
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in graphics, design, or a related field; or equivalent experience. 4+ years related experience All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
