The Opportunity

Functions as a mid-level Process engineer in the Industrial Process Group.  Process Engineers in the Industrial Process Group support projects for municipal water, wastewater treatment facilities, and industrial plants across the United States and internationally. Process Engineers design a variety of systems including chemical feed, sample panel, demineralized water treatment, ammonia storage and supply, wastewater treatment, plant utility systems, and industrial fermentation processes. Under general process engineer supervision, performs all aspects of conventional process design engineering, such as calculations, developing P&ID’s, mechanical layout drawings, and writing specifications. 

Key Responsibilities

Engineering Production:

  • Support process engineering design for industrial, municipal water, and wastewater treatment plants.
  • Develop P&ID’s and specifications for each process systems and perform detail coordination with other disciplines
  • Develop calculations for each process system
  • Perform research and develop recommendations for equipment and/or materials selection 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Intermediate knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards related to assigned engineering discipline
  • Written Communications, Drive For Results, Quality Driven, Priority Setting, Planning, Delegation, Directing Others, Conflict Management, Informing, Listening, Dealing with Ambiguity, and Building Effective Teams 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing.
  • Minimum of 3 years related work experience
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
