The Opportunity
As an InfoSec Analyst Intern, you will have the opportunity to:

Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of IAM solutions/systems and Enterprise Cybersecurity solutions/systems

Assist in the management of IAM operational tools
-
Assist in the coordination of IAM team initiatives and Cybersecurity Architecture & Engineering team initiatives
-
Assist in cybersecurity reviews of enterprise projects

Key Responsibilities

Create Knowledge Base articles and other documentation

Process IAM related events and alerts

Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical IAM issues

Stay up to date on current IAM threats, solutions, cybersecurity technologies and developments
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum 3.0 GPA (preferred).
- Willingness to learn
- Ability to read and process complex topics
- Excellent communications skills both verbal and written
- Ability to see the “big picture”. Think like an architect.
- Familiarity with some or all of these technologies/concepts:
- Cloud Platforms including Azure, AWS, and Google
- Network Technologies - TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SSH, HTTPS
- Operating Systems: Windows 10, Windows Server, Linux
- Data Loss Prevention (DLP)
- Syslog
- Network Firewalls, Web Application Firewalls, etc.
- CASB (Cloud Application Security Gateway)
- Application Programming Interfaces (APIs)
- Databases

Work Environment
Professionals located near a Black & Veatch office have the option of a hybrid work model that offers a balance between working together in person and the flexibility of remote work. Our hybrid work model means you will work three days in the office and two days from another location of your choice.
This hybrid role is located in Houston, Texas and Overland Park, Kansas.
