Duties

Provide functional/technical industry expertise and experience in Gas and Electric Utility Enterprise Asset Management and field worker mobility solutions. Contribute to the completion of multiple engagement phases and function in a lead role and manage the client engagement while documenting and improving business processes focused on EAM solutions and the ecosystem of interfacing systems. Manage Gas and Electric Utility EAM and Field Worker Mobility transformation projects.  Utilize EAM functional and technical knowledge and experience to produce work products and solutions on system implementation projects.  Perform Solution Architect responsibilities. Participate in Scrum Teams as Business Analyst/Process Analyst. Develop, present, and defend conclusions, recommendations, and implementation plan. Identify technical issues impacting an engagement and propose solution. Analyze and apply best practices from industry. Manage client expectations within defined scope of engagement. Recommend appropriate resources based on the phases of an engagement. Demonstrate experience with Electric Generation, Distribution & Transmission networks, Gas Distribution & Transmission Asset and Work Management Processes. Configure and/or optimize EAM Solutions (IBM Maximo 7 or later versions). Lead a project team of technical and functional consultants on system implementation projects. Perform IT project management and implement transformation projects. Demonstrate an understanding of GIS Systems and GIS Data Models such as ESRI’s Geometric Network and Utility Network. Perform Field/Mobile Work software solutions. Perform IT project management with implement of transformation projects. Demonstrate knowledge of a complete engagement lifecycle. Provide for Business development. Use EAM systems like Maximo, Infor EAM, STORMS, Asset Suite. Manage client expectations within defined scope of engagement. Recommend appropriate resources based on the phases of an assignment. Delegate work to assigned team members. Use defined processes and practices in assessing engagement risks. Manage engagement issues in less complex projects or escalates issues in more complex projects. Meet Billable Hours and business development targets established in annual goal setting process.  This position does not include any people management and does not have any hire / fire authority or formal supervisory duties.  Applicants for this position must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require employer sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States (i.e., H-1B visa, TN visa or any other non-immigrant status).

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field plus a minimum of 7 years of related experience.  Required experience must include working with EAM systems including IBM Maximo 7 or later.  Must have experience with Relational Databases including Oracle10g and later versions. Related experience must include use of BlueBeam, SQL Developer, Java, Python and Jython Must have experience utilizing Microsoft tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint to provide detailed reports and client presentations. Experience required working in the engineering or business consulting environments of the electric and gas industries.  Must have experience communicating across organizational boundaries and organizational levels.  Position allows for 100% remote work.  Up to 50% travel within the U.S. and Canada is required.  Must have good written and verbal communications skills in English.
