The Opportunity

As the Senior Brand Manager, you work involves broad latitude for decision-making and review of actions through goal attainment. Your decisions have a profound impact on a large division or company-wide. You will conduct long-term planning of complex, strategic, and major projects. This role requires expert knowledge in several areas, including marketing, communications, event coordination, branding, and proposal support. The position also requires the ability to integrate critical information from several diverse areas. As well as it requires extensive theoretical, practical and industry knowledge and the ability to apply and develop highly advanced principles and concepts. You are recognized by internal and external associates for high-level expertise.

Key Responsibilities

Branding

  • Leads design, development and implementation strategy of the global brand framework for the company in order to increase brand equity and maximize awareness in global target markets.
  • Develops and implements strategic plans to promote and increase brand identity to maximize company sales and contribute to profitable growth.
  • Establishes systems and processes for tracking, measuring, evaluating and reporting results.
  • Provides quarterly and annual reports on activities and progress at company and/or operating business / division levels.
  • Develops, communicates and implements brand guidelines and processes for uniform brand usage to achieve consistent expression of the company's brand image and messages.
  • Conducts long-term planning of complex, strategic and major branding campaigns.
  • Manages trade mark strategy and monitoring filings. 

Communications

  • Applies expert communications knowledge, skills and principles to company communication mediums.
  • Defines the development of new principles, theories and concepts.
  • Forecasts future internal and external communication needs for a wide variety of complex brand marketing applications and programs.
  • Assigns projects to internal/external resources/vendors and tracks progress.
  • Performs work that involves latitude for decision-making and priority setting.
  • Works on long range projects that are reviewed through achievement of objectives according to predetermined goals.

Marketing

  • Makes Marketing Program decisions.
  • Applies and/or develops highly advanced principles and concepts.
  • Forecasts marketing needs
  • Highly-skilled in developing tailored, winning sales messages and value propositions, and also reviews/approves others.

Management Responsibilities

Acts in capacity of a "lead person." Does not have management responsibility for the people to whom they provide work direction.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communication, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 9+ years related experience 
  • All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or relevant experience preferred.
  • Prefers at least 10+ years of agency and/or B2B experience.
  • Experience communicating, presenting, and articulating strategy to high level executives.
     

Work Environment/Physical Demands

This is a hybrid position and requires at least 3 days onsite with the opportunity to work 2 days remotely.
