The Team

Our U.S. planning and water resources business has seen consistent growth driven by our clients’ needs to address challenges stemming from surface water/groundwater supply, operations, and associated regulatory requirements; development of aquifer storage and recovery systems; reservoir operation and seepage control; surface water management options; and the development of alternative water supplies.  Challenges surrounding water scarcity, drought resiliency, groundwater depletion, saltwater intrusion, brackish groundwater treatment, brine stream management, desalination, climate variability, sea level rise, complex water rights, and evolving regulations are driving innovative water resource projects across the country.  In the Carolinas, as well as other locations across the US, we anticipate an increased demand for creative integrated water resource and groundwater planning and design solutions.  This, therefore, represents a strategic business opportunity for Black & Veatch, and the Hydrogeologist Professional will help the company grow its market share by providing world-class planning and water resource services.
