As Project Manager  you will provide Program Management Support for the Polish Provided Infrastructure Program in Poland for our client the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) Europe District. 

 

This role is primarily based at our office in Poznan, Poland with regular travel to sites throughout the country.

Key Responsibilities

 

In this role you will:

  • Act as a liaison between United States and Polish government entities related to military infrastructure, managing pre and post award design and construction contracts in Poland
  • Work within a diverse team of US Government, Contractors and Polish Government stakeholders to understand and communicate project requirements.
  • Maintain an understanding of Polish Codes, Permitting Processes, Contracting Procedures, and the Polish Military Infrastructure. 
  • Other duties and responsibilities as assigned and relevant to maintaining a successful program and Company's office in Poland. Main duties consist of program and project management for within, and possible outside of, the Polish Provided Infrastructure Program, including travel as requested by the client to support the projects.
  • Review project scope and plans, facilitate or attend meetings, generate reports, and coordinate activities as needed by the client.

Management Responsibilities

Acts as a project manager. Among responsibilities is management of a project team. The individual comprising this team may vary by project.

Minimum Qualifications

•    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience;
•    All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding; requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations
•    Fluent in English and Polish (verbal and written);
•    Polish driver’s license or be able to legally operate a vehicle in Poland for the duration of the project;
•    Proficient with Microsoft Office (i.e., Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat or compatible software;
•    5 years’ experience managing pre and post award construction contracts in Poland, with an understanding in Polish Codes, Permitting Processes, Contracting Procedures, and an understanding of Polish Military Infrastructure

Preferred Qualifications

•    10 years’ experience managing pre and post award construction contracts in Poland, with an understanding in Polish Codes, Permitting Processes, Contracting Procedures, and an understanding of Polish Military Infrastructur;
•    Experience with US Government contracts, codes and regulations. For example, Unified Facilities Criteria

Work Environment/Physical Demands

Typical office environment, typical construction environment, extreme weather conditions, high noise level, safety hazards (electric currents, working on scaffolding and high places, exposure to chemicals), atmospheric conditions (fumes, odors, dusts, mists, gases, poor ventilation).  Sitting, walking, talking, hearing, reading, writing, keyboarding, driving, filing, reaching, stooping, crouching, bending, standing for extended periods of time, lifting or carrying up to 40 pounds.
