Job Summary
Key Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities
- Design & Analysis: Perform structural analysis for steel support structures, equipment supports, foundations, and bus structures. Control and GIS building (Both steel and RCC) design experience shall be preferred.
- Load Calculations: Calculate wind, seismic, dead, and live loads to ensure structural integrity.
- Documentation: Prepare Structural design calculation reports, detailed construction and fabrication drawings, material specifications, and bills of quantities.
- Compliance: Working experience in codes like ASCE, IEEE, ACI, AISC, NESC and APAC region local codes and standards
- Collaboration: Coordinate with electrical, civil site group, mechanical, architectural engineers to integrate equipment specifications with structural design.
- Field Support: Conduct site inspections, resolve RFIs (Requests for Information), and support construction/commissioning teams.
- Modeling and Design: Utilize structural software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, RISA-3D) for modeling and analysis and spreadsheets for loading and connection design calculations

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil or Structural Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 to 8 years of experience in AIS and GIS substation structural design, specifically for electrical substations of high-voltage transmission projects. #LI-IB2
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing. Minimum of 1 year related work experience. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.
