Key Responsibilities

We are currently recruiting for Graduate or Intern Environmental Scientists for our Chester & Redhill offices to grow our expanding environmental team, which includes ecologists, landscape architects, geomorphologists, EIA specialists and many other disciplines. Key aspects of the role will include: 
• providing environmental support on a wide range of projects including fluvial and coastal flood risk management, renewables, water utility and energy projects; 
• undertaking Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) - assisting with undertaking all aspects of EIA at all stages of the project, including SEA, feasibility, screening/scoping, reporting, supervision of mitigation and monitoring; and 
• liaising with project teams, clients, stakeholders and the public as required. 

The role will also include the opportunity to assist with, and develop, a specialism in any of the EIA technical areas such as ecology, water, fisheries, ecosystem services, maritime etc.
We have an active Community of Environmental Practice and will support you through the various levels of professional membership to eventual Chartership. We will also encourage your development by providing field experience, mentoring and training as required. 

Full time & part time will be considered for this role

Minimum Qualifications

Completed (or completing) a relevant Environmental degree
Excellent report writing skills
Full driving licence

Preferred Qualifications
Post-graduate qualification in relevant Environmental degree.

A specialism or interest in the water environment including geomorphology.
