Job Summary

The Regional Supply Chain (RSC) leader will be responsible for collaboration and  alignment of Supply Chain resources, processes and procedures to support the regional market sector businesses in growth, strategy development, proposal review and delivery execution within their assigned region. The RSC leader will report to the Regional Director and matrix to the Supply Chain organization. The RSC leader will obtain support from  BV Supply Chain Operations and communicate and coordinate the supply chain needs to the Supply Chain Leader, Supply Chain Resources leader, and Processes, Technology & Adoption (PTA) leadership.  The RSC leader will be responsible for identifying the key, critical materials & equipment required for all project types within the region, supplier identification, forecasting resources (for proposals and projects), and business performance.  This position is accountable for Supply Chain compliance and performance for their assigned region.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads and establishes Supply Chain strategies to support the region and  its market prospects and projects.
  • Reviews and ensures development of budgets (equipment and material costs and job-hours) for Proposal and Project forecasts
  • Proposal development and planning, participation of Cost Review Boards and Project Review Boards
  • Monitors and is jointly accountable for project performance metrics and KPIs
  • Participate in project reviews and is a point of escalation for supplier issues resolution
  • Develops and maintains relationships with Key Critical Suppliers; obtains market trends.
  • Provides market feedback to the BV organization (via Market updates and other established communication channels). 
  • Identifies and coordinates Market specific training needs for the regional Supply Chain Organization
  • Collaborates and communicates with Global Supply Chain leader 
  • Communicates, knowledge sharing and work-sharing (as needed) with other Supply Chain Market and Regional Leaders 
  • Coordinates with Supply Chain Resource Leader and PTA Leader for staffing and training 
  • Collaborates with other regional operations counterparts on regional market strategy
  • Collaborates with clients to organize client-directed resources 
     

Management Responsibilities

Supervises work of others. Responsible for hiring, discipline, and pay administration of their subordinates.

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • BA or BS degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Human Resources Technical / Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred.  Equivalent experience can substitute for a degree.
  • Minimum of 15 years of people leadership and resource management experience.
  • Global experience managing distributed teams
  • Experience with managing vendors and teams within the UK, Europe and Middle East
  • Significant Supply Chain Industry experience, relevant to the assigned region.
  • Ability to manage executive level relationships

Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of 20 years of relevant experience. Work Environment/Physical Demands

Travel may be required.
Typical home/ office environment: Sitting/Standing/computer usage for extended periods of time. Speaking/Listening. Ability to utilize video/audio conferencing software for internal/external communication purposes.
