Job Summary
Acts independently under general direction. Directs the activities and operations of all personnel in the Software Analyst group. Manages the day-to-day system support and maintenance activities consistent with client needs, company objectives and technological resources. May act as an expert in business or functional area and provide technical leadership in one or more highly specialized areas of applications systems analysis and programming. Has general technical knowledge of all phases of applications systems analysis and programming. May act as project lead for a major project or several smaller projects.
Key Responsibilities
. Prepares detailed specifications from which programs will be written . Responsible for program design, testing, debugging and documentation . Assigns personnel to projects and directs their activities . Provides input for decisions on personnel actions (hiring, terminations, promotions, etc ) . Mentors other Software Analyst personnel . Participates in the performance evaluation process and career planning for subordinates . Maintains service level agreements and provides a point of contact for reporting problems . Works with Sales and Project Management in identifying task and schedule requirements . Performs specific aspects of assigned projects . Actively participates in user groups, presents papers and presentations at conferences . Makes recommendations to management regarding domain direction . Leads and participate in department or corporate initiatives . Supervises Software Analyst - Associate, Software Analyst and Software Analyst - Senior Management Responsibilities

Bachelors degree in computer science or related field OR equivalent work experience. In addition to the education requirements, ten years related experience.
