Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Consultant specializing in Business Intelligence (BI), Data Architecture, and Digital Transformation to lead complex, multi-phase client engagements and deliver enterprise-scale analytics solutions, preferably within the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.

This role serves as a technical, delivery, and people leader, accountable for defining data and analytics architecture, directing solution delivery, and aligning digital initiatives with client business objectives. The Consultant operates with minimal supervision, exercises independent judgment across architecture and delivery decisions, serves as the primary client-facing resource for assigned engagements, and leads and oversees offshore delivery teams to ensure high-quality, scalable execution.

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking a Consultant with strong expertise in Business Intelligence (BI) and Digital Transformation to lead strategic initiatives and deliver advanced analytics solutions, preferably having exposure to energy sector. This role combines technical expertise, leadership, and client engagement to drive actionable insights and business value. You will function as a lead consultant or technical specialist, applying advanced techniques and mentoring junior team members.

Digital Transformation & Strategy

• Lead the definition and execution of digital and data transformation strategies, including roadmaps for data modernization, automation, analytics enablement, and cloud adoption.
• Translate client business strategy into target-state digital, data, and analytics architectures.
• Advise clients on operating models, governance structures, and organizational adoption required to sustain digital transformation initiatives.

Business Intelligence, Data Architecture & Analytics

• Define and lead delivery of enterprise-scale data platforms and analytics solutions, including cloud-based data warehousing and advanced analytics.
• Establish, govern, and approve data architectures, data models, and integration frameworks aligned with long-term client strategies.
• Oversee development of BI dashboards, analytics applications, and reporting solutions using Power BI and the Microsoft Power Platform.
• Define and enforce data quality, governance, security, and compliance frameworks across engagements.
• Provide technical leadership and design oversight for work performed by offshore teams, ensuring adherence to architecture standards and best practices.

Infrastructure Advisory & Asset Management Analytics

• Lead application of advanced analytics to capital planning, risk management, and investment prioritization for infrastructure and utility assets.
• Design and govern KPI frameworks and performance dashboards to monitor asset health, lifecycle performance, and operational efficiency.
• Apply ISO 55000 asset management principles to optimize cost, risk, and reliability across asset portfolios.

Project Leadership, Client Engagement & Offshore Delivery

• Accountable for end-to-end delivery of complex BI and digital consulting engagements, including scope, schedule, budget, risk, quality, and financial performance.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders and external clients, owning engagement outcomes and client relationships.
• Lead and manage onshore and offshore delivery teams, providing direction, prioritization, performance oversight, and quality control.
• Translate business objectives into clear technical and architectural strategies and present recommendations to senior and executive stakeholders.
• Review and approve offshore deliverables to ensure quality, accuracy, and alignment with client expectations.

Practice Development & Mentorship

• Provide technical, professional, and delivery mentorship to onshore and offshore team members.
• Contribute to development of delivery standards, reusable assets, and practice methodologies.
• Support business development activities including solution scoping and proposal development.

Preferred Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• 10+ years of experience in business intelligence, data analytics, data architecture, or digital consulting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Power Platform (Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate), SQL, and data integration / ETL architectures.
• Experience designing and governing enterprise-scale data platforms such as Azure (preferred), AWS.
• Experience leading offshore or distributed delivery teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Master’s degree in Data Analytics, Data Science, or Engineering.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience advising clients on data governance, security, and compliance.
• Experience delivering analytics solutions in the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.
• Industry certifications such as Azure/AWS Architect or PMP.

Minimum Qualifications
