Job Summary
Dedicated leadership managing and coordinating EDS supplemental workforce capacity aligned to strategy for forecast demand with a focus on India subcontractors executing work globally. This role coordinates significantly with EDS Solution Leads and Market Sector Leadership, both globally and locally, and reports to the EDS Supplemental Workforce Lead to manage supplemental Engineering capability to align with overall demand. The Supplemental Workforce Lead - India may directly manage agreements for staff augmentation and/or assist with project performance issues of traditional engineering subcontracts. This role carries a high-level risk due to the subcontract volume and inherent engineering subcontract execution consequences to projects.
Key Responsibilities
• Identify subcontractor and coordinate internally for technical and business evaluation of subcontractors, setting up framework agreements, develop and manage relationships for overall engineering subcontractor capacity/engagement volume and risk in India.
• Collaborate with EDS Solution Leads and Market Sector Leadership on planning and execution to meet demand.
• Leverage sub-contracting demands to coordinate supplemental workforce planning.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, and lead the development of the commercial deal structure, working in conjunction with the project team and organizational processes.
• Lead the development and evaluation of the Engineering subcontractor bid packages in conjunction with the project team. Bid packages will include the following at a minimum:
• Scope
• Schedule
• Division of responsibility
• Compensation structure
• Detailed Execution Plan
Manage commercial agreements and/or support project subcontract performance concerns. Collaborate with Op’s Subcon/Commercial/Supply Chain/PMO/EDS Leaders and Market Sector PMO Leaders.
Adhere to Code of Conduct and ensure compliance with the organizational Policies and Procedures.
Management Responsibilities
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience in engaging and managing Engineering subcontractors within India.
• Proven abilities in the development and maintaining of key relationships with Engineering subcontractors. Familiarity with engineering design execution in Oil & Gas, Power Generation, and Grid markets, workforce planning / Tempus.
• Excellent communication skills with proficiency in written and spoken English language.
• Ability to travel within Country on a short notice to meet potential subcontractors and other business needs.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 5+ years engaging Engineering subcontractors in India.
• Minimum of 10+ years management experience of Engineering resources.
• Project EPC/professional services execution PM experience.
• Self-Driven Organizational Development.

Certifications
Professional Engineering licensure applicable within the region.
Work Environment/Physical Demands
• Typical office environment: Sitting/Standing/Computer usage for extended periods of time
• Ability to utilize audio/videoconferencing software tools for internal/external communication
• Ability to travel to meet with and manage Engineering subcontractors.
