Job Summary

Works with the PMO Manager in support of maintaining and improving the PMO practice which includes PPM methodology, tools and analyses, and reporting.  May also work with Project Managers supporting project planning and control
 

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintaining project and portfolio data in the PMO toolsets
  • Creating and maintaining regular and ad hoc reporting and analysis
  • Supporting the creation and maintenance of PMO methodology including policies, procedures, processes; and maintenance of the PMO Content Document Library (CDL)
  • Researching industry best practice and identifying improvement opportunities
  • Supporting the PMO tools including PPM, MS Project, SharePoint and other portfolio management tools
  • Supporting Program and Project managers in project execution

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4 year college degree in a technical or business discipline
  • Experience with PPM tools such as ServiceNow PPM, Microsoft Project

Experience in a PMO operation

 

  • 4 years experience in an IT organization
  • Experience and high skill level with MS Office toolset, experience with MS Project and Visio would be a plus
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the Project Management discipline

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in computer science or related field OR equivalent work experience. In addition to the education requirements, four to six years related experience in software development or Quality Assurance. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Certifications

Certified Software Test Engineer or Certified Software Quality Analyst certification.
