Job Summary

This position will focus on delivery of high-profile projects for major municipal clients in Dallas Fort Worth (DFW) Metroplex.


Few examples of high-profile projects that you can enjoy working on are: 


  • Design of major wastewater treatment plant (WWTP) expansion with the state of the art treatment process; 
  • Design of WWTP upgrades to install large blowers, post aerobic digestion, anaerobic digester and blend tank for 150+ mgd WWTP
  • Facilities master planning for two of the largest WWTPs in DFW; 
  • Facilities master planning for a 6+ mgd WWTP
  • Evaluation and design of aeration improvements for a 100+ mgd WWTP;

Key Responsibilities


  • Provide technical leadership and supervise multi-disciplinary engineering staff for the planning, design and construction oversight of WWTP projects
  • Collaborate with all project engineering disciplines and drive overall project execution 
  • Assist the project manager in project management, maintaining project schedule, budgets and manage sub-consultants 
  • Oversee implementation of expected QC/QC procedures during a project
  • Under the direction of the project manager, interface directly with the clients on all technical aspects of the project 
  • Support business development through writing of technical approaches, scopes of work, and presentation to clients
  • Technically mentor other engineering staff
  • Serve in a supervisory role and participate in career planning and learning and development
  • Ability to lead large multi-discipline teams and drive solutions to meet deliverables
  • Ability and motivation to technically lead complex water and wastewater treatment projects

Technical Expertise and Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience executing multi-discipline WWTP upgrades and expansion projects
  • Previous experience assisting project manager maintaining project schedules and budgets
  • Previous experience with WWTP master planning, design and construction
  • Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides for WWTP projects
  • Experience and ability to support proposals with technical ideas and approaches

Minimum Qualifications

  • Requires a bachelor's degree in engineering from either a recognized accredited program in their home country or the country in which the professional is practicing. 
  • Minimum of 8 years related work experience.

Professional engineering registration is preferred, with the ability to obtain a PE License in Texas.
