Job Summary

Provides functional advice as required within contractual limitations.
Leads Mechanical verification for turnover to CSU and the Client for Process and non Process Equipment within the topside of the FLNG Project.
Key Responsibilities
- Advises and ensures BV’s safety standards are adhered to including use of the Risk Assessments and its associated documents.
- Leads the Mechanical team in Emergency Responses.
- Leads in the development of Commissioning and Startup procedures (CSU) as directed.
- Tracks and controls all documentation required for proper handover of CSU systems.
- Advises on the preparation and execution of detailed system testing with the use of Air, Nitrogen and Helium as required.
- Leads on the preparation and execution of detailed system cleanliness including flushing activities.
- Proactively plans for CSU activities and major milestones (such as major equipment, chemical cleaning, steam-blow or demonstration and performance testing.
- Lead advisor on construction completion (MC), turnover to CSU, CSU to operations, and final turnover to the client.
- Assists in the advanced planning and preparation for startup activities and major milestones.
- Participates in the development and implementation of programs for the control of spares and consumables
- Advises on the startup effort ensuring compliance with the associated specifications and contracts and ultimately resulting in an efficient and timely turnover to the client
- Participates in thorough system walk downs/reviews to establish the completion status of systems and identify outstanding items to be completed.
- Recording as built engineering changes on drawings and discrepancies.
- Ensuring proper setup and testing of equipment as per vendor requirements
- Supports continuous improvement efforts and change management as required.

• Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Stand, Kneel, Bend, Stoop, Move, and Walk long distances in and around confined, cluttered places, and uneven areas.

• Requires using hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools or controls according to a set procedure.

• Work up to a 12 hour shift doing hard physical labor in varying temperature extremes and other outside conditions.
