Job Summary

Manages business operations for assigned Solution.  Facilitates long range business planning, forecasting and communication of all resource needs, and portfolio risk analysis and business analytics for assigned Segment and Solutions.  Assists in solution strategy, financial budgets and forecasts and goal setting. Supports Solutions leaders in business analysis and decision making. Responsible for effective management of solution business operations, including continuous process improvement, supporting implementation of segment and solution initiatives, and coordination with the business sector, global operations and other organizational groups as required.  

Key Responsibilities

Strategy 

Responsible for development of specific plans for strategy deployment and profitable growth creating five-year projections to inform BVOps and enablement functions. 

Facilitates alignment of strategy and growth projections across Segment, Solution and Region. 

Responsible for communicating to BVOps in support of strategy and growth/investment initiatives. 

Coordinates with Strategy in producing financial and resource targets for deliverables. 

Resource & Overhead Planning 

Develops and coordinates near and long-term Solution solution resource forecasting, including engineering, craft and construction equipment. 

Develops Solution resource growth plans. 

Facilitates and ensures alignment of BVOps support of staffing.  

Drives resolution of near-term staffing needs to support portfolio of proposals and projects with BVOps, including scenario planning and team risk assessment for key project roles.  

Portfolio & Financial Management 

Facilitates Solution prioritization of opportunities based on client and profitability attributes. 

Develops Solution level portfolio risk and opportunities assessment, including PGM erosion reporting. 

Coordinates with finance in developing budgets and forecasts. 

Solution Leadership 

Drives actions and accountability for coordination and improvement/growth initiatives across BVOps. 

Responsible for Solution coordination with BVOps functions. 

Provides business analytics and direction to leaders for informed decision making. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years of project or operations related experience with progressive managerial/leadership roles within the power or oil and gas industries. 

  • Skilled in effectively communicating with and creating consensus among diverse stakeholder groups. 

  • Experience with project execution, including functional experience in any of the following project controls, construction management, engineering, estimating, finance, or proposals. 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required, preferably business, finance, or HR-related. 

  • 8+ years related experience in project execution, business operations, HR, or finance. 

  • Strong understanding and management experience with project financials and organizational finance metrics.
